Brussels Rollers Parade

Each summer this is the same thing, you will see in the streets of the center of Brussels a hoard of fast rollers enthusiast listening loud techno and dance music from a monster buggy car. The roller parade takes place tradionnally each friday in Brussels , the day is different in other Belgian cities (yes, the event is so popular that it takes place in seven different cities),. The parade start in early june until late September. The sunniest months in Belgium . An average of 6000 people take part to the event, sometimes the roller parade top the 10 000 participants mark. If you don't have a rollerblade pair, it is not a problem, you can hire a pair of K2 rollerblade (if you do, go early) they have 300 pairs available for hire. (price is € 10 Euro). Children can participate providing they have the appropriate protection.( safety gear: hand, elbow and knee guards, luminous strips and a helmet).
